Hi, I’m Logan Busuttil — a proud dad and Newport born and bred (despite the surname!). I’ve spent the last 8+ years working as a professional sports coach within the local community, helping thousands of young people develop both on and off the pitch. Community and family are at the heart of everything I do, and after years of coaching across Newport, it’s rare that I can go anywhere without bumping into someone I’ve coached along the way.

My background includes a BSc (Hons) in Community Football Coaching and Administration, a Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, alongside qualifications including the FAW C Licence, FAW Football Leaders, Level 3 SKIP-Cymru, Level 2 in Coaching Sport & Physical Activity, and Level 2 in Community Sports Leadership.

Starting KLAG Cymru is more than just a business journey for me — it’s about making a real difference. Through my day-to-day coaching work, I’ve met so many girls who absolutely love football, but I could see there was something missing locally to properly support and encourage their passion for the game. KLAG Cymru aims to fill that gap, creating more opportunities, confidence, and support for girls’ football so the women’s and girls’ game can continue to grow for future generations
